Seems like an interesting idea, I’m not sure how a clickable button that edits your first post into saying “sold” would work, but if it’s possible and people would use it, then sure.

As for dividing your recent topics into iso and ft, I can’t see this ever really being used. And if you have that many recent topics and you’re looking for something specific, you could just press CTRL F and find what you’re looking for that way :)

Dunno how this would increase staff work load, he never said anything about closing or reopening topics. Worst case scenario is they click “sold” by accident, and then they have to manually edit their own post again.

Then they would have to edit their own post ( if it was possible, back out on the item not being sold, recover the list of items being sold and price asked, recover images, and more. If the edit window has passed then it would require assistant by staff or to recreate a new topic. Also what happens when a group is is bidding on items and the seller just start clicking sold? How do we know someone is not just spamming to fix prices? If you click sold on accident and people are actively bidding, they will also have a reason to instantly stop bidding and move on.

I also mentioned about users needing assistance because of the feature. You can see in the previous thread of other possible issues staff may run into if this was implemented.

What an absolute shocker.. Thought you could sell anything you wanted to though? Because you’re the fucking best ever and no one here can match your credentials. P.s people don’t like narcissistic assholes so admitting to such is a pretty bad look.

I'm not an active trader on these forums and I am speaking to site suggestions here which means this would effect everyone. Sure I can sell anything, I can get people to by forum gold thru this site and for this site, and not for me. People know that, and people pick up on ways I can make that happen.

Adding Sold to activate trades, when trading works as is, is going to change how things work and in unpredictable ways.

Sorry if you feel the way you do, but in all reality many people log onto this site wanting to enjoy it however they choose. Regardless if it is feeling like they are #1, regardless if they are #1, or regardless if they share that #1 experience with others. I'm not a narcissist, and that is rather rude for you to go about saying. So I would appreciate it if you kept on topic instead of posting here for yourself.

I like it. Would also in this case perfer that the topic creator is able to mark it as not sold incase stock comes back in or he/she accidentally clicks it.

I disagree and I believe having 10+ = buttons on a trading screen is clutter-some and not required. Everything already works as is, people have just become incredible lazy and dependent on winning because of others.

Ty

Maybe the original post is cached for 15min so you have a 15min window to remark it as not sold

Edit: or a prompt to confirm a transaction has taken place and the item is indeed sold

Yes, I’m a fan. Cleaner looking than just editing the initial trade post.
