One thing is certain here about MM with "New" vs "Older" players to LS, there are a lot of older players that remember the time when "Catacombs" basically was first introduced, and they adapted to the requirements to keep a full group run active and NOT having to remake the group again.
Simply put, Catacomb groups would cancel out if a member died, you could NOT go to town, Casting and Healing was higher mana consumption to now, so there were always around 2 healers in the group, also healers would communicate with each other to take over the task by typing in chat "OOM" (Out Of Mana), also some healers would melee until their next level to replenish their mana and so forth.
Mirror Maze is basically a rendition of the the older times when playing, and yes... MM was not around at that time, but this was a constant thing that happened in all Catacomb runs.
MM is basically like it was when creating a normal climb from level 1-71 full group climb... no towning. It is harder in some retrospect.
