Going to post step by step how to Start and maintain a LIVE PLANTED TANK - so excited to give my little fishes their own real ecosystem, this will be a learning curve as I am only 2 months into the hobby!

- NEW 30 GALLON, picked it up for 40 bucks complete with lid. lights, huge heater and new filter

- the substrate I will use for the new planted tank

- coat 3 of black acrylic, by far the best looking background I have used so far

I am going to get another air pump tonight. I would like a small bubble wall, I have a few extra to get saome water moving,

I am also going to install a new filter, the sponge type, becaise the hang on back is getting clogged already by my amazon sword plant.

so with a new bubbler, a new filter and I will test the water sunday during routine Water change and see if its safe to introduce my 3 angels, currently there in a 20 gallon community tank but its risky because the danios are so much smaller
