trump didn't do much except for kill the religious/philosophy aspects of the sub.

even in 2014 or so the "pure politics" threads were nearly as partisan as they are now. although i have to admit the exodus of centrists has been a bit sad, especially coupled with an influx of hyper partisans.

i still maintain Trump's nothing but a symptom of the internet, as is the partisanship, rather than the cause of anything. There's a reason Kim Kardashian is struggling to fit that monstrosity of an ass through the Oval office doors, she's of the same ilk as Trump. They barter in the currency of outrage, and both used it to turn moderate wealth into overwhelming fame and fortune.
