It's restrained trading. The exchanging of an item is indeed a trade. If I give you an item while being returned one, that in fact is a trade.

You guys hace been proven wrong on the trading aspect, stop fighting it. If D3 doesn't hace trade than neither does D2 or any game that requires exchanges.

Nope, no item in exchange. Its a donation.

Obviously giving something with nothing in return is a donation. Are we here to state the obvious now?

I'm not talking about donations, I'm talking about trading.

Yeah, there is no trading in D3.

9.9 times out of 10 you drop an item your friend needs, and he has nothing you need in return.

its restricted donating, end of discussion.

No thanks, we will continue discussion. Why? Because you won't stop responding to it incorrectly.

The groups I play with do not donate to one another. We trade.

Problem I think is there is a big difference between ability to trade freely, whenever.. compared to sharing. D3's "trading" is basically sharing with your friends within a time limit.

But the differentiation between the two are pretty distinct imo

It is a big difference indeed. Can still be under the category of trading.

I don't even know why any discussion matters at this point.

You like the game, you don't, move on. That's the only logical and needed outcome for this section.

How are you doing today John?

Doing well, ready to head home in 2 days.
