Friend is providing me with an I7-8700k, so I'm looking to build a new rig
Haven't followed hardware in at least 4 years so I'm looking for recommendations.

Requirements are a mini-itx case (with or without water cooling)
Nvidia 1070+ (not sure how ill deal with the heat issue for 1080/ti)
Must fit 2 SSDs and a HDD

Just need the tower so no need monitors/OS/etc

For the sake of guidelines, keep it under $2000 and building within a next week or so

Bonus points for Blue color style

If you like the traditional tower style ITX cases, check out the Fractal Design Nano and the Phanteks Enthoo ITX.
One thing to keep in might with an ITX build, it will be worth it to buy a hybrid cooling GPU (has an aoi integrated), because it can be hard to get enough fresh air to the gpu fans when you're pushing it hard.
No time to put together a build, but any z370 board w/ 16 gb 2667+ ddr4 ram, 620+ watt 80+ bronze/gold PSU from seasonic, EVGA G series, or Corsair CX.
I'd also recommend an aoi for that, better thermals, especially with a hot chip like the 8700k.
HDD just get a Seagate or WD 1-2TB drive, then it will probably be cheaper to buy a .5-1 tb SSD than 2 smaller ones.

i mean if u want that case
get it

personally the psu shroud
takes up so much space
and is kinda useless and dumb
blocks all the air for gpu

only single top fan

Is the CPU cooler in my part list perform well? Or I should look for something better?

The harddrives are because I'm just taking them from my old PC and moving it over. Games are going to be reinstalled, but lots of important files.

Also urbanshaft got me set on waiting for new gpus, but is there good gpu coolers out there?

CPU cooler is fine and it's radiator will fit in the front of your case.
