i just wanted to give you a small feedback on this list and post it here, because it might also help new users who see this

let's start with the positive aspects

• thanks for making these afforts, i'm sure you intended to help others and that's cool
  
• one could see this list as the general advice "trade safe" like you say, which i support
  

but there are also a few things i wanna criticize, mainly about your first post - no offense here, take it as an attempt to help you:

• basically the list says nothing new, it just shows common duped items and everybody knows that these might be unperm (that's not a big problem though)
  
• more important: you say all the listed items are unperm and that's just wrong, they exist as perm and as unperm. so after all, you only should say "all items can be unperm"... well, nothing new
  
• most important: by only listing the skins you know about, it looks like other skins would be safer (or even 100% safe?). but each of the listed items was duped in every skin, so your list is very misleading for new users who don't know about that

just for be sure: what does it mean unperm?

example 1:
i have 1 unperm item X, if i leave a game without open the trade window and press "V" i dont find item X in the next game

example 2:
i have 1 unperm item X, it can disappear randomly in every moment, even if i never use the char with this item X



Whats the true? Example 1, 2, or are both incorrect?



ps. how can i check if something is unperm? i read something about an item "serial number" or something similar..

an item is called unperm when it has the same ID as another item
usually it won't poof when you don't use the char, but it will poof when you join a game in which the same item (with the same ID) is in as well (poofs when you leave the game)
but unperm items can also poof without clashing with the same ID

so that means when somebody dupes item X and now has items Y and Z with the same ID, there is no difference between X, Y and Z, they are all unperm until there is just 1 ID remaining (that means Z can become the perm item when the other 2 poofed)

there is no way to be 100% sure if an item is perm or not, that's why ppl are careful and often don't buy items from new users
even a clashtest can only prove that an item was unperm after it poofed
