It was overlooked after responding to DJ. This is why i don't mind talking to you, you and I actually have a discussion on our point of view for the game.
The heart of aRPG's and what makes them special is the economy aspect and the way of building up wealth. That's why I can see why this game didn't bring more happy customers, but instead left many disappoingted. I can see their perspective and why that expectations left them the way it did. I've taken games like this both directions, the direction of economy and building that wealth and using it amongst others to benefit both parties for gain. I've also found the enjoyment in doing everything on my own. I appreciate it more for example finding the rarest of items during solo play rather than more quickly getting it through trading from wealth. It's more rewarding. I did it with D2, Runescape, and other games with those advantages. That's why I enjoy D3, it has that solo expectancy about it. While the parties and trade exchanges are there to be done in your groups, it why I used the phrase D3 is an aquired taste and feel it would of been better if it was its own game and not by the Diablo franchise.
Because I can agree that when you set an example like you do in Diablo 1 & 2 you can't flip the switch like that and expect your fan and customer field to be a bigger success. They tried something very different and it didn't turn out well for everyone.
tl;dr for those who care: games shit
