Any longtime Blizzard build experts out there have a recommendation on whether to max Ice Bolt or Cold Mastery first? Which provides the better bang for your skill point? Let's say at around +8 to skills.

You dont really need to max cold mastery for pvm

The most ull need is to have -200 pierce

Icebolt.

/infinity will never truly break a cold immune in hell that matters, so a monster with 99 res will require 199 pierce to go to -100 and cm goes in increments of 5

Whether or not monster cold res can actually vary between 95 and 100 though i dont know. Most ud waste is 1 skill point
