Do you
A. Play D2 to have fun pvping or clearing game content?
B. Play D2 to sell items on JSP, hoping to sell a ber rune for 1.5k+ a month into the ladder?

If A, bots have zero impact on your game, you can ignore them and keep playing to your heart's content.
If B, you're spending probably upwards of a hundred hours to make that 2k fg. The average hourly wage in the US for 2018 is $22.59. The exchange rate on JSP is 100:3250. That means you can trade 2259 USD for 73,417.5 FG. OMG - how can life get any more fun that that? Bots can't compete with that rate of fg earning!
