I'm in the market for one that is in the 100-150$ range

What do I look for here? Routers are the biggest weakness I have when it comes to tech stuff so I have no idea..

All I know is that the current one I have is almost dead and I need a new one asap (DIR 615 - DLINK)

what i mean is that i really don't understand anything when it comes to routers, anything weird with that?
i've just never really cared/had the interest to familiarize myself with them.

and please do elaborate on why I should look for "any ac1750" over anything else? that's kinda vague of you to just post that

Can't be vague yet thats exactly what you have done.

Realistically no one can help you atm, I mean you haven't provided any info as to what your needs are.
You gave us a budget with absolutely no idea of your internal network, number of devices, and your service speeds.

Though with that said I'm sure a AC 1750 router will more then meet your needs otherwise I'd expect
you to have a better understanding of your network and what you require.
