Trump's presidency really shows you how the leader of the free world can not even show up to work and everything continues to run relatively smoothly.

Seems like he showed up to Singapore to make a very beneficial deal with North Korea.

You know, something Obama couldn't manage to do in 8 years.

no "deal" has been made, and Obama, Bush2, and Clinton didn't try to make one either.

You have a point there. Trump managed to take care of the nuclear threat from North Korea... without even removing the nukes they have! 4d chess.

Trump cannot create, nor can the Pentagon, an independent service branch. That will require an act of Congress.

I can hear it now:

"Well actually because presidential powers were expanded under Obama, very bad...horribly thing. What we're actually doing is operating under the law, very bad law. Obaamaaa. We have to be a nation of laws."

To be fair, the Executive branch CAN lay the groundwork for it. But they can't formally establish it. Nor can they create senior leadership positions to run it. They CAN appoint people to fill those positions, once created.
