I put gurley and bell as number 1 worthy. Zeke is right behind, then and DJ 4th in my opinion. I could never do AB first overall. I think this year I would go Gurley over everyone though.

yeah i'd agree, i feel like zeke could be hungry again with that suspension ending his season though. but yeah, probably still take gurley/bell first then zeke, then dj

Odel should be relevant, especially if the Giants have finally found a running game. The only reason he wasn't last year is because he was injured the whole damn time.

I think a lot of people are sleeping on Kamara in this thread. Had a huge season, split touches so he's decently fresh, and with Captain Checkdown as your QB, you know he's going to have solid reception counts every week.

eh, not really sleeping on him, just need to see more. we've seen guys blow up their rookie year (ie gurley) to only see them fall flat on their face a season later

i don't think the saints offense would ever be the dumpster fire that the rams were in gurley year 2, but still, i'd want to see more to make him a top 5 pick. he's still a first rounder imo in a 12 man, maybe even 10 man (i'd likely have him 9-12 somewhere, havn't really looked yet) but who knows about his durability given he was hurt last year and he's only getting 5-10 touches a game iirc (granted 1-2 of them usually broke for 50+ lol)

Vouch.

AB is great and all, but there's no way I'd ever take a WR #1 overall. There is sooo much fucking depth at WR in this league it's ridiculous. Obviously having an ankle breaking monster like Hopkins, or a freak of nature like AB does wonders in terms of consistency for your team, but I value nothing higher than a consistent scoring RB. Barring an injury ofc, those first 1-4 picks are about the only people who get those guaranteed good backs. You can always get lucky and get a breakout back with a 3rd or 4th round pick, or off waivers if you're really lucky, but good backs are hard to come by. In comparison, you can have both your starting WRs on bye and still win a game with mid-tier waiver pickups in full point PPR 8-12 man leagues.

Who you got every position for #1 this year?

I am curious to see what people think on a few of the other positions. I went with Julio on my #2, but it's a straight toss-up between him or Hopkins for me. If Watson stays healthy, it's going to be difficult for any WR to outperform Hopkins, that fucker has insane talent, it's scary. OBJ is a great athlete, but they're switching to a run first scheme and they've got a bum at QB. He's talented enough to get the job down and still be a productive WR, but I've got him a tier lower than the top 3 as I see it.

Depending on where I draft and who takes what, I've got my first rankings out to 14 as the following. Subject to change ofc, and I'm a fickle bitch who will get a gut feeling and go with it on the fly here and there. I'm pumped for fantasy this year though, not sure why, but I feel like it's going to be a good one.

Gurley, Bell, Zeke, Brown, Julio/Hopkins, Johnson, Barkley, Kamara, Hunt, OBJ, Gordon, Fournette, K Allen.

I don't doubt that he'll have good numbers, but the difference between top RBs and good RBs is pretty significant. He had a great year, but Gurley was a fucking monster and that team has only improved. Dallas still has one of the best offensive lines in the league with holes so big most of us could rush for 50 yards a game (or until we died). Bell has proven time and time again how fucking beast he is. Even though his sideways running ass pisses me off a lot, he gets the job done. Hard to put anyone above those 3 for me. #4 spot is up for grabs and my mind may change before the draft, but all those guys below those 3 are close to one another.

120 rushing attempts, 100 targets. So closer to 15 than 5, and with his success he'll get more touches. I'm too lazy to look but I'd imagine he got mor etouches as the season went on.

His targets were about the same throughout the year as well.... not sure why you thought it'd be any different.
