So people say ratio is 1kfg:$10 but thats not the case with njaguars rates for the site, so where are these rates coming from and why are people getting away with these rates.

If I understand the question correctly, there are only 2 options for purchasing fg with $ here.

1. Buy fg directly from the site: http://forums.d2jsp.org/buyGold.php
Those rates do not change.

2. You can donate on the behalf of another user who offers their fg using the donate for me automated tool: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=71291037&f=34
These rates can change depending on who is offering their fg for donations. By clicking the "Recent History" tab you can see a list of the most recent donations and their rates.

Any other method used $ to obtain fg apart from the ones above would be considered an illegal trade.

Where have you seen people say those rates? In what section?

My guess its in the RLT in the DF section.

What these people mean is that they buy items from games with $ and sell those items here on JSP for FG.

For example: Buying runescape gold with $, selling the runescape gold for FG

This will indirectly get you about 1k fg per every 10$ spent and is perfectly legal

Direct fg : $ trades are illegal
