Budget: 600-800
More specific use (what games, what programs):Skyrim special edition, Madden 19, web browsing
Planned time until purchase: Could buy right now...longest I'd wait is until mid July..prefer now.
Do you need an Operating System?: yes...windows 10 preferred
Do you have any specific preferred components?: sff case such as Silverstone ML08b -I'm aware that building SFF will limit performance per $, but this is going under the TV as a "console" for gaming for 90% of the time. *I am open to other SFF cases as well if you are aware of one that could fit better parts for performance while still being sff, etc.
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: not sure...
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: not planning to overclock
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no to all 3
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 15642

Thanks for any help!

Any opinions on this? Does this look good? Do you see any components that you would swap out that would make an improvement without taking the price up much, or better yet, dropping the price?

The one below is the same thing with a 3gb Gtx 1060. Idk how much of a difference that will make performance wise.

Thanks for the input. Does the brand of the memory make a significant difference, or is it more personal preference from previous builds? This will be my first build, so I'm a bit clueless on the details.

Assuming you used the RAM configurator at Gskill to get compatibel RAM, there shouldn't be a problem. I would get a 16GB set though.

/e Here. I got a cheaper SSD and 16GB of RAM...

Thanks! And I guess i meant storage, not memory. I saw that the storage was what you switched out.

Appreciate the input btw!

Well, within reason, no it doesn't. But the one you had, Inland, no, stay away from that. Limit yourself to Samsung, Crucial or Mushkin for SSDs.

Right now, I'm thinking about going with this. Took some tips from Ghot (16 gb memory), better SSD brand (also upgraded storage amount & ditched the HDD). Switched the Ryzen 3 1200 to an Intel i3-8100 (from the sites I checked, it seems to be slightly more powerful and closer to max performance of the GTX 1060), and moved to a different brand of 1060 since I saw that this one may cool better inside the SFF case.

Any other input? Looking to pull the trigger on a purchase in the next week or so (I know that prices may change).
