Emerican making himself look like a jackass in this thread lmao

Plenty of animated (not anime) movies are beyond good and aren't just targeted toward children. Most have references and humor that only adults would understand anyhow.

I'd challenge even the most manly of men (which it seems you're trying to be) to sit through something like Finding Nemo or Toy Story while holding a straight face and not find it entertaining.

Edit: I loved The incredibles but jesus I haven't seen it in what seems like forever. Will have to rewatch it to remember my thoughts on it.

I’m an adult. No thanks

Your parents never raised you on Disney movies? Disney movies are for adults, just preparation takes place at younger ages.

You sir lived a terrible life growing up if you haven't seen all Disney/pixar movies. I completely feel bad for you.

Of course I watched them as a kid. But why would I watch then now? I was in highschool when the first Incredibles came out.. why the hell would I want to watch that in highschool? Unless it came out before the year 2000, I probably havent seen it(other than Toy Story 3, or watching a movie with a gf, or with a younger cousin or something). I dont go out of my way to watch cartoons.

I enjoy watching them with my niece.

It is nice watching a good animated film over the trash Disney shows she loves.

Agreed.

The first one is a solid movie, regardless of how old you are. I watched it again last night with my kid, and while it's not in my top 100, or anything crazy, it's an entertaining film that's enjoyable as an adult. I'll certainly watch the new one when I can get it online with the kiddo, but I'd watch it by myself even if I didn't have a kid.

It wasn't great and too long for a kids movie.
