My computer's USB ports aren't working, my video card is not dispalying any picture (even after installing a brand new 1050 2gb today) and the power button won't even turn it off.

I understand that the computer is in terrible shape and it's a poor preforming cpu as it is, do you think a new motherboard is the only answer (outside of rebuilding) ????

Like, what do I do

Please help (: thank you

Unplug and replug in all main cables 4/8pin cpu, mobo 24 pin, ram, etc.
Remove gpu,
Reset bios,
then try to get it to display on the mobo's intagrated gpu before moving to the dedicated gpu.

Can also make sure your rams in the correct slots and start with 1 stick as well and add em 1 by 1 or switch em out.

Yeah, figure that CPU fan first and foremost. Is the power connector for it plugged in?

If it is, does the fan turn freely with your finger? Or is its movement impeded?

If fan is gone, CPU may have followed by overheating.
