Considering it is a personal blog and I would like to get some personal information removed after some time without having to delete the entire blog. Another option might be to chose whether people are allowed to post in this blog or not:

[ ] Dont allow other users to post in my blog.
Default setting: Other users are allowed to post.

Reason: I had to ask a moderator to get my blog closed only because I wanted it to be a showcase for my portfolio and not a discussion/commentary platform.

As i posted at begining.

Problem is It is a Blog so you have to read and understood what Blog is.

Not gallery

Photo gallery you have just upload photos there.

Yes you said that, thing is, "Blogs" would still work the same way even if the edit times were removed, one is not forced first to edit/change the first post but can if needed.

I think your missing the point entirely.
