You don't get banned for playing techies you get banned for being cancer. Playing techies and being constructive doesn't get you reports. If you got a 6 month ban it's after a lot more than a few reports, you literally get nothing but reports for an extended period of time. The system works.

A lot of people report all techies doesn't matter if they did good or bad. Even popular streamers do it live on stream

techies changes the layout of the entire game. You play a boring low pace game with a techies on either side, which is ruining the experience of people playing. That is why techies is always my bann choice... and i always report if he is picked no matter game outcome...

Techies is actually a strong hero, he just has a very unique playstyle. I remember when people were literally crying on the dota2 forums demanding techies be released, and then when he finally was all people did was bitch.

i ban techies every game and report techies if picked regardless of team. op is correct as to why he is now banned.
