I suspect this is the source of the friction between the President and the Attorney General.

It's no surprise that I'm not a fan of Trump, but I agree wholeheartedly with him, here. Certainly could be the source of friction, since Jeff Sessions is an old school anti-drug guy.

And yet they're still pushing for more private prisons and maximum sentencing for drug related crimes(that's not just sessions here, that's trump too)

I'll believe it when I see it, not that the GOP would ever let it happen. Now hemp on the other hand? McConnell is all over that for some reason.

Also this is most likely just trump blowing smoke up session's ass.

Thank god Obama didn't legalize pot or it would have been re-banned....

This is a good move, but i'm curious which angle he'll go with and if this means Sessions is finished. I can't see him stomaching these changes.



KY is an exceptionally good climate for growing outdoor pot. which is almost unsmokeable by modern pothead standards but great for hemp production.

The CIA should just tie Sessions up and force him to smoke some marijuana.
That would take care of his distrust of marijuana anyhow.
