I need some knowledge from the great minds of JSP :baby:

I just got a rare Crystal Sceptre

+30% ele dmg base
+40% Spell dmg
+20 intellect
+17-29 cold dmg
+11%crit chance
+30% mana regen

But my damage seems lower when I look at the dps of my fire trap compared to when i have axiom equipped....

Is it because the sheet dps isn't accurace or because the 100+% crit chance on axiom is fucking OP?
And also, at around what level do YOU normally switch out axiom?

hmm.. I'd say the rare is better than axioom

but you're right, axioom is very good, I usually switch it to other weapon when I get enough crit nodes from the tree

but you could easily get to blood aqueducts with only axiooms

test if you can see any difference between the rare and axioom and use what you think feels more strong

cause all you are getting from that is the spell damage and the ele damage
that does not give your traps crit, nor does it add the cold damage.

so ya axiom is better

i use a shieldthat has high crity chance, spell damage ,mana regen + int

that rare is complete garbage compared to the new incursion mods, just vendor that shit.
You can easily get 90-100% trap dmg, 50% fire x Spell dmg for 1 chaos.

so that for starters.
