i am looking the maximus rog x hero. i was just about to drop a purchase, but i noticed the wifi version is on sale at the same price as the non-wifi version.
wifi is not something i have an immediate need for. i do like having options though.

last i was looking at boards i was faced with the same choice. however, i believe the wifi version took up a sata port or something.
this time around, i have not noticed so far anything stating a change in board specs, outside of... 1 has wifi, 1 does not.

i am wondering if anyone here knows for certain, that the wifi board doesn't have any losses due to adding the wifi card?
if that is the case i may just stick without wifi

as far as i can tell, there's no loss using wifi boards this year. (for this model)
consider this thread closed. i'll be starting a new one on a separate subject.
