Far from racist my friend, most people in Washington are bandwagon and don't even watch hockey.
This is the first year I have seen alot of people in Washington even follow Washington.

Most of them are Wizard/Nats fans.

I'm gonna have to agree with Japrone on this one.

Being from Baltimore, a short 40 minute drive from DC, I've noticed A LOT more red around town then in previous years myself.

Yup, south of DC and people have been rocking red once the caps beat the pens. Before that, not so much

Everything is wrong with bandwagons.

It’s the 3rd or 4th biggest sport there, gotta grow the game and the way to do that is to win. Recruit some suckas on this run, then drag them along for another 40 years of mediocrity imo.
