I go out raving every weekend so I feel I know a bit.
I’ve been to burning and I also just came back from EDC Vegas.
From a drug side of things, molly/xtc/acid is your best bet. It’s safe if you’ve tested what you’re taking and know that it ain’t tainted and you take the proper dosages.
Molly/xtc will give you the best feeling (it’s next level happiness and sensation). The problem though is that it’s effects don’t last that long before you start to come down. Which means you need to redose or you’re basically done for the night. So timing of when you take it is key. Also note that Molly/xtc depletes your serotonin so you don’t want to be doing it often. Leave a month in between rolls at minimum, preferably longer. You can also build a tolerance if you do it frequently.
Acid gives your energy for the longest period of time. That said, you need to be experienced with taking acid otherwise you’ll just get lost as opposed to being able to be lucid and high at the same time. Just remember you’re in control and it’s all in your head.
I agree with you that alcohol makes you sleepy. That’s why I personally am not a fan of alcohol anymore. It’s also worse for your health than taking drugs in safe doses...
Another alternative, is caffeine/nutropics/preworkout. I like this the best because I can do it regularly (I don’t drink caffeine during the week so I don’t build up that caffeine tolerance).
Also, taking a nap before a festival, supplementing adequately (vitamins, nutrients, etc), and eating healthy helps loads with energy too. I’ve gotten Molly like highs from just this. No caffeine, just rest and a smoothie bowl!
