In a straight up fight with no weight classes, a huge bodybuilder has a huge advantage over a small MMA fighter

The facts are simple: physics: The muscle mass on the body builders biceps are triceps directly translate to bigger punching power. Bigger punching power = 1 hit KO's

So obviously MMA fighters shouldn't train exclusively like bodybuilders, but a middle ground approach is by far better than exclusively training (hurr durrrr ground n pound hurrrr durrrr). Everything in moderation folks

Hmm. I think GSP has it down.

He does a lot of those gymnastic/plygo-metric-whatever exercises where you mostly just use your body weight.

Which to me makes sense. And probably helps a ton with flexibility and getting used to being in awkward positions and recovering from awkward positions.

Yeah, that. I'm way off with definitions/words apparently. Lol
