Propose better criteria then. It's almost as if I did a very open ended-simplistic model to invite criticism and start an actual conversation with facts, figures, and math, instead of just unsubstantiated dick-waving.

You could do a comparison between countries with a HDI over 0.800. At the moment that’s a list of 51 countries or territories, representing ~1.4b people. Those are the countries where one would assume the standard of living is similar enough to the US.

Manafort could face up to 20 years for 'talking to people'. Is that unjust?

e/ talking about the witness tampering charges btw.

Manafort is asking people to lie in court.

So? He's just talking to people.
20 years for talking to people seems a bit strong don't you think? Tommy Robinson only got 13 months.
It's almost as if what you say, and under what circumstances you say it, has some relevance.

manafort is facing 20 years for perverting justice by interfering with an active trial, not for talking to people.

if he attempted to alter documents, or interfere with the investigation in another way he'd face the same punishment. even if he was a mute.

nice try tho.

Oh look it's a discussion.

Yes, that would in fact be a good thing to try! If I were to run the numbers again, I'd do that--but I'm far too lazy to cross-reference all that shit. If anyone is interested but unable to do the math, they could put some data in a spreadsheet and share it and I'll do the easy party. Would just need murder rate and # murders from the wiki article for each nation involved.

Yeah, remember last week or so I asked if that mirror you linked was actually the video. Definitely bs as to why they removed it. Glad they put it back up tho

... and Tommy Robinson is facing 13 months for interfering with an active trial. Now who has the draconian laws?

There are plenty of truths you can't say.
