If I like a football club and they change the entire management and the entire team to a womens team then I simply don't care about them anymore. I move to another club ;)

There is nothing wrong with developers going a new direction. Everyone in this world hates change in almost everything we have in this world. That's because we live in a very close minded generation. They took into consideration their fans, they just took a direction that just didn't work for everybody because they didn't do a copy n paste job. You are too simple and close minded, D3 did well and I hope they don't disappoint with D4 either.

You keep fooling yourself.
1) Reality is that they could have made a new game and headed in this direction without anyone complaining. To take the Diablo franchise and do this is grotesque and a betrayal.
2) They disappointed already with D3, let's hope these guys will never touch a Diablo game again.
