I only play LS for 3 reasons:

1. Increase my stress level.

2. Rage to myself and a few others about the constant fails, especially lately with numerous 3rd door fails with Monk.

3. I enjoy getting nothing but t1 and t2 items from level 50+ EP's.

LS is very chillaxing.

I think paul takes advice on board and if he disagrees with my points he will do what he wants to do regardless, which as his game he is entitled to do.
That will not stop me posting my thoughts, because change comes from discussion.
Sitting here saying "Oh well ill just quit and not say anything because that is just the way it is" is definitely not going to change anything and it is not my style.

Let me be clear here.
I do not hate ladder slasher, i love the game.
I do not hate slashers, some of my best friends still slash.
I simply have a different opinion about the direction of the game.

It is weird arguing with people who spent 300,000 fg on ls items about how hard it is to get into the game as a new player, they never had to experience it.

I dont see how it’s hard for you to get into LS though.
You are in labby, and apparently ranked high there... Labby has several loanable gear sets. Use them. Acquire gear. Cry less about the difficulties of getting gear, because you are seriously in the best position to start playing LS

This is not my point at all.

it is the point you are very much able to climb in labby you just don't have the fortitude like rick does

I am talking about the core issue of the game for player retention, without an active player base there is no point in me playing because no climbs happen in my time zone anyway.
Saying "There is no issue with the game because you can borrow gear" is not fixing anything.
It does not change anything for anyone who is thinking about trying the game.
For every new player ls gets, 3 old players quit.
I will come back and solo climb just for fun if the drop rate is increased, because i enjoy finding items.
If the playerbase comes back to a point where people actually do climbs at night i will climb with them.
the real issue facing the game is player retention, and the elitists screaming at anyone who suggests a way to change that is not helping anyone.
