Small suggestion!

As it currently stands in game, the monster abilities seemingly have no cool down and they can paralyze and cast whatever ability super fast, sometimes can be very overpowered.


Suggestion : Start a X second cool down after the abilities affects have gone away to prevent mobs from becoming to overpowered.

meh... would prefer them to double/stack cast them than to cast them less

voting no cause although it can be annoying sometimes... I have yet to come across an overpowered ep/mob due to this lol I guess maybe in hc / low geared - more iffy but even so... nah sry

This will help people who are new or cant afford the best gears. People with high end gears usually kill mobs faster before they can cast the abilities too quickly. So it makes sense you have not come across it much because you have good gears.

It seems to be pretty random.

Pushbackers usually only push ya back once but sometimes they get the chance to do it 2 or 3 times.
Stunners sometimes stun ya 2 or 3 times in a row but normally just once.

It would essentially make monsters easier and the game play even easier. I'm for any change, and if he did this he could also add more monster abilities that could maybe be used against them :D , or maybe 1 or 2 new character abilities :D woot woot!

Sorry mate, but it’s hard enough for me to find challenging mobs to fight... voting no because monsters in this game are the opposite of overpowered... it’s players who are overpowered compared to the poor monsters :(

Maybe in group yes. Solo is a very different story. I get hit hard at 55+ even with nice scale armor and 115 vita. I just finished solo climb, I was still getting hit 300+ dmg left and right at 65 to 71. Even before that was still not too terribly fun to get hit.

Group play is 10 times easier since you have more players to attack the mobs. Mobs are same difficulty if 1 or 5 players, so they deal the same damage vs 1 player as vs 5 player. The only thing that changes is amount of mobs. And in comparison you have more mobs vs solo than you do vs full group (talking about per wave).

So maybe if mobs got stronger and/or weaker with the amount of people in group, maybe it would help with the difficulty part in full group.

I agree that your gear is good, and solo climbing with explore is infinitely more challenging than 5-man whistle despite having good gear. Mobs are not actually the same difficulty if 1 or 5 players... monster strength does scale with players in-game, and actually more monsters in a spawn make each other stronger too...

And yes... I am soloing most of the time too--also exploring anytime I'm soloing. I'm not using gear as good as yours... if I can I try to have someone else sit in my game so I can spawn up to 5 monsters solo... and I'm still looking for more of a challenge :P

The only thing I would like this applied to are the elemental immunes or give us some way of knowing when their ability is active. I LOOOVE hitting an immune to my element and having to either wack it dead with my int staff or waste a ton of mana healing it until its finally worn off and I can damage it.
