Because the deal didn't block Iran from building nuclear weapons.

Pulling out of the Iran Deal is arguably the worst move of Trump's presidency so far. Politically speaking, his worst move was firing Comey, but pulling out of this could have huge long-term ramifications.

Of course, he's also undermining our institutions, eroding our democratic culture, and blurring the lines of truth vs non-truth, but it's hard to place any one of those things into any one move.

How anyone thinks this President is good for our country is beyond me. He's likely going to join the ranks of Harding and Buchanan by the time he's finished.

Trump likens himself to Andrew Jackson, and the media likens him to Nixon, but I think he's more like Andrew Johnson than anyone else - he's just a dumbass. And unfortunately the executive branch is a lot more powerful than it was in the 1860s.

The Iran deal was a masterpiece for the Iranians. Kerry deserves jail time for having negotiated it.

From that same article...

Quote
he amendment – offered by Representatives Keith Ellison (D-MN), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Ro Khanna (D-CA), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Jim McGovern (D-MA), and Walter Jones (R-NC) – is now in the House’s version of the National Defense Authorization Act. The bill is likely to be passed out of the House later this week.

Our work is not over. The amendment could be stripped out in negotiations with the Senate, as has happened to both productive and dangerous amendments in the past.

It's a we hope this happens article by a bunch of Dems (no surprise there). They incorrectly call it bipartisan because ONE Republican allowed his name to be attached to the bill.

This is the media being hacked sort of...or fake news...

Quote
The National Iranian American Council was the first to publish this yesterday, but I waited until today to get more details. And here they are:

“The unanimous passage of this bipartisan amendment is a strong and timely counter to the Trump administration’s withdrawal from the Iran deal and its increasingly hostile rhetoric,” Congressman Keith Ellison said.

First published by The National Iranian American Council. Pfft.

Not even passed by the house, so far. Definitely won't pass the senate.

No one wants Iran to have nukes.
But despite all the "sticking heads in the sand" policies of other countries...Iran was building nukes.

They were building ICBMs for local defense they said. Wrong. ICBMs are Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles.
The oversight agency keeping an eye on Iran, was by their own admission, getting half of there oversight info...from Iran. That's not a recipe for Iran with no nukes.

One day, you will grudgingly thank Trump for this. The US was one of the oversight agencies, having to re-approve the Iran deal every 90 days. They didn't re-approve.

/e I mean it would definitely be better if EVERYONE got onboard with this. That will happen sooner or later, it has to. If it doesn't Iran is gonna have nukes.
