Depends. I don’t know the OP’s full story but some practitioners get a repeat ECG with each serial troponin or if merited by change in condition. Although it was never stated that the OP’s girlfriend ever had a first troponin drawn. So in the case of a non-admitted ER patient who will receive two sets trops and than get discharged I can see two ecgs being done. So you are correct.

They could also have said this will cost u this much, and is probably gonna show nothing at all(they knew that) and that she should just probably practice presence and do what she likes to do more, and whatever she does, do that to the best of her ability until she can take it no further (that gives a higher sense of accomplishment and easier a greater/more positive self image)
