Correct me if I'm wrong here but funniest comes from funny, which is laughable. Most fun would be the most amusing build to play. Are you mistaking Funniest for Funnest?
What I learned in my english courses back in high school was that words with 2 or less syllables could be transformed into their "ier/iest" versions but not longer words.

but i see people use funniest a lot, where most fun or funnest should be used and im always like wtf?


funniest build to me would be one that you laughed at because it was funny

funnest or most fun would be a build you enjoyed playing because it was fun

To me this is asking what is funny too play not what is the FUN too play

Funniest is a really common word said by non-native english speakers (when they mean funnest)
possibly because the way they conjugate verbs in their language make fun and funny from the same root and they dont see the big difference
