You do not need a tag to trade/sell items

If you want to earn reputation, sell a lot of items and be active in the trading community (be respectful, help people out, etc). People will naturally vouch for you on their own volition

Yes, thank you. I should have mentioned that, but I think that part is pretty self explanatory.

There is a guide on how to trade on d2jsp located here: How to Trade on d2jsp (In your case you would be posting here: Path of Exile. Make sure you select the proper trading subforum from the list at the top!)
As outlined in the above guide, If someone is uncomfortable with trading with you (or vice-versa) there is always the option to request a mediator: How To Request A Mediator And Prevent Scams. Your trades will be 100% safe if you use this method.

A good starting point for a new members such as yourself would be the New User Guide.
This will give you a good idea of how things are structured here, as well as other site features that are available to you!
