Like I said in pits fort can be ok, but treach is prolly still better.

With treach you leech more, do more dps and your merc is like never cursed.

So why would u run fort?

Let's trick ppl into wasting currency on a fort.

have fun letting merc die because fade haven't procced.

For chars that runs chaos for example treaches fade barely ever procs and u'r merc dies with like 50resists

fortys 300ed still do more damage than noob 45ias ofc this depens in a lot of stuffs

If fade haven't procced your merc is probably not in danger.

Fade doesn't procc in chaos usually cause your char is too strong. If you struggle in chaos fade will procc 100%.

More dmg sure, but not dps.

Answer: Treachery is simply better than Fortitude. In ~80% of all cases when raw damage is applied, and better in ALL cases in which CB is applied. In the eventuality of killing a mob, Treachery kills faster. It also makes for a better shell for the mercenary to be a stronger tank.

But it's like some1 said, hf + reaper's=immortal basically.
