Magnesium is not a rare earth element, and has nothing to do with the article. But good try. :)

Seems geology isnt your sector either

LOL. Maybe you don't understand English, or the dates on the articles.
Yes Manganese nodules contain rare METALS and POSSIBLY some rare earths. This is nothing compared to the latest discovery.

This article I posted is new, the RED dot locates the 16 million TON discovery. :)

/e P.S. I was raised by a woman (my mother) who had a PhD in Geological Engineering. In case you're interested.

I didn't know kids inherited the full content of their parents knowledge upon birth.

You love trying to leach your relatives for credibility when you know you have none of your own.

I didn't inherit anything. But I was her first born. I got taken to exhibits, had rock collections, knew Moh's Hardness scale when I was like six, the first book I really remember was my mother's old French's Engineering drawing.

Let's see, no Googling...
Talc Gypsum Calcite Fluorite Apatite Feldspar something something Corundum and Diamond. <--- M<oh's Hardness Scale back when I learned it.

Now via Google...

Mot bad. Orthoclase is new, back in the day it was Feldspar, which for all I know may BE Orthoclase.

Shit bro. You know GEO 101 material. Must mean you are qualified to talk about complex engineering capabilities.

Just stop before you embarrass yourself like when you did not know it only takes basic Newtonian mechanics to predict how far you can launch a missile.

Dude, wtf is your major malfunction.

This is just news article I posted. Read it or not. Your absolute uninformed opinion of me, means absolute nothing to me.
I realize this may be a difficult thing for you to deal with, but you're just going to have to live with it.

So it's an interesting point because theres real concerns about china holding like 3/4++ of the world production.

Depth of 5700 meters.

Almost exceeding the deepest mine today by 2km... But hey, China is making plans to mine helium3 on the moon for future fusion.. So it wouldn't surprise me that this would be mined before that time ^^
