Some other nice weap alternatives (and easier to make/obtain than Death's Web or HotO) are White runeword in a +3 Nova wand, or Blackbog's Sharp. The latter is pretty fun to use for Poison Dagger, especially with the 50% slow.

Hoto isnt overly tough to obtain. personally iv never really been to huge of a fan of white wants. ( yes i know how Op it is ) and will likely go spirit. of course a sick white wand base could change my mind
Also dont think ill use poison dagger any more when i get poison explosion
