He's one of my all-time fav champs so just curious of his status.

His play rate doubled and his win rate spiked.

Even noobs are winning more often with him, the games are all played by 1-50 game players.

Seems normal to me. Karthus always has been good, just underrated for a good reason (lack of mobility, waveclear, burst)


Winrate jump because playrate jump.

A bunch of people picking him up for the first time would often result in more losses, no? seems like a karthus main would crush even harder if all the new people can.

he's outdated enough for people not to realize his e alone in a skirmish is a mini fiddle ult that can deal huge damage to teams, and when paired with his ult, he can effectively fight without much skill.

He's great with exhaust, too. It makes trades slower so he can actually duel or poke and execute almost anyone.

His ult and E guarantee around 1000 dmg late-game to 3-5 enemies. And that's only counting the base damage and those TWO abilities. Count 660 AP, buffs, and landing any Q's.

tbh i think the new PoM rune change helped him out a lot. i dont think it warrants this big of a spike tho

Karthus is dump vs my heimerdonk, since turrets not run away from Karthus q.


Played some Karthus support, q-max-last
spam ult, with ultihat and 45cdr
jump in with e, when teamfight require it
just spam some wall
and miss q in lanefase for dumpsterzoning usefullniss till lvl6
splitpush and ultspam for extra noobniss freewin
