still undecided if i get a 2018 brand new or a 2015/16/17 used with low KM

Although they haven't really increased power, they have improved handling, greatly.

It being the "same car" doesn't mean anything if someone is looking to buy one.



If you want one, I would go new. STIs hold value very well, and imo, you won't save too much buying used.

It’s literally the same power train set up.. Congrats, they’ve finally figured out how to make a transfer case that doesn’t implode.

And sure, it grips the road, but for 40k there is so much better out there.

There’s always other cars to choose from, but people can buy what they like and it doesn’t necessarily have to be the “best” in every category. There’s always diversity in price brackets. For 40k new, however, you’re starting to stray from higher-priced, non luxury vehicles, to entry-level “luxury” vehicles.

they do hold value well also.
