I'm lucky now to not have a job that physically/mentally drains me, so I can actually do stuff outside of work! I've been inspired by some of the others to actually play hardcore and do another W/T. I did attempt a Riftsin awhile back, but I've since lost the save file. This build has always somewhat interested me the most, it may not have the efficiency of a Hammerdin/Blizz/Lightning Sorc but its flashy, is essentially a trapsin with more in your face action. Plus, frozen orb!!!





Goals:
  • Rift!!! (Hel Ko Lem Gul)
  • Reach Level 95
  • Hell Baal + Ubers/DClone
  • Enigma/CoH (Haven't decided yet)
  • Lofty goal - INFINITY
  • Lofty goal - Holy Grail

Rules:
  • Ladder Runewords
  • Extended Stash
  • Players 8 at all times during progression
  • Countess Reruns at players 1 allowed
  • All farming besides countess allowed at 3+ players
  • Hardcore


Starting W/T in Nightmare as Normal was essentially a speedrun.

Well this could be a nice early surprise.


WOOO! Well that made up for no early spirit.


Pulled the runes earlier at the end of normal mode.
I did a few cow runs to try and get 4os sword and polearm but no luck.
Did however stash a few of the white ones on the ground in the off chance I could cube it. Guess I don't need the polearms.

Using Gem Shrines to try and pull perfect Amethysts for cubing.


Found the Tree before the waypoint.


This may be a recurring thing...
Low life while taking screenshots...
Hope I'm not foreshadowing here. Probably should learn to wait for everything to be safe.

Not exactly the first set I've found.

Welp, gonna be running countess a bit after I get this map.
Maybe I can farm an Io rune for Black.

Before I head back to progressing, bought a dagger from Charsi with some mana leech.
Won't have to chug quite as many pots.

Took awhile even with some decent traps, I really need CB


Of all the countess runs I had, the highest rune dropped in catacombs.
