Sure hope so. His putting lets him down lately. If he nails that down, its a sure thing.

if any pro has a good putting week on tour they will usually win
this week the winner needs part of their game, no flaws.
the greens are behind fucked ( ive played it before ), the fairways are somewhat wide but the holes are super long for even tiger, and we all know he likes to add extra juice, and when he does he loses his accuracy by alot.
i see somebody like day, rose, or dj winning this week
proximity to hole will be huge and those are the top three for the last few weeks

Horrible, but on the other hand, look at his company. So many big names are putting up shit first rounds. Scott, Day, Spieth, Rory all at +8 or worse. Mickelson at +7.

At the moment only 2 holes have an average of under par. One of them just barely at -0.071.
14th hole. 8 birdies, 46 bogeys and 28 double bogeys.
Yikes.

Thats pretty rough. The USGA makes courses so stupid to play. Dumb.

I agree that majors should be played on tougher courses, but this one seems just too tough.

Well the last time they played here at Shinnecock, the weekend part of the course both days the USGA lost the course. Now they're really starting to get ridiculous with these new setups. They need to go back to the traditional US Open course setups like it use to be. Just stupid they're really trying too hard. Its bad when the RNA and the PGA is against everything USGA is doing.
