This is exactly.. not what he asked. Your replies are always ~ useless (for lack of better words).
Although I cannot follow the reasoning of this guy/multi. I agree with his outcome :). He must have guessed it right.
I would use a martel over snap. Jorrit has tested both this seazon so maybe you should have a chat with him.
And regarding the pinpoint.. I think (as many things) testing has the best outcome. Just clear seis area and kill him with base attack with snap and several martels (compare # of hits). Ofc AR is also an important factor :). These forums are nowadays only populated with people who miss the exact d2 knowledge to give you an answer :p.
Yeah, thanks I agree this is the optimal way of testing the effects, was hoping for evidence with calculations;)

Many factors must be taken into account for a strict calculation since these weapons don't have the same range...
Different range involve how fast you're moving ( boots, increase speed, party aura ? ) and your play style as long/short ww ( e.g: will you stay into the weapon range until the monster is dead )
Was on the way to compare Bonesnap Vs Martel, so if you don't mind to provide some infos/stats i could start with your specific case ? ~
If you do the tests please hit me up on pm/here with results, also if you could state players ingame you will perform test on;)
Now to the setup:
Weapons: Bonesnap 167 60 durability VS Martel 250 damage 55durability (no ias no LL) - LL and durability is not a factor since I just want to test whats best on seis specifically...
General setup on both chars: Silk, Angelic ring/amu, hsarus gloves/boots, tarnhelm, sigon boots/gloves
**No auras or any outside effects like enchant.

With snap you dont have enough push. If u play 1/8 u will need to repair weapon all of the time whereas martel is noticeable difference. I dont have math to back it up but i had more fun playing with a 250 martel.
Will only be killing Seis so durability is not an issue, however in my case snap has 5 more durability than the martel I have at hand;) You might be right in terms of 250 martel, I think the breakpoint might be around 240 - but again just a guesstimate.
