i could be wrong but i think its a myth they're toxic to touch. they're toxic to ingest and toxic if in bloodstream, so if u have a cut yes its toxic to touch.
kind of like the myth when aids was in epidemic about how you could get it.
They get their toxins from what they eat in the wild, so I wouldn’t touch one in a forest. Most of the toxins on their skin can’t pass our skin barrier, but our hands are often full of micro-lesions.
