I have mine in a fully planted 125 gallon tank with a waterfall, stream, and small pond

i had a couple of frogs and toads growing up.


are the dart frogs you have toxic to touch?

i could be wrong but i think its a myth they're toxic to touch. they're toxic to ingest and toxic if in bloodstream, so if u have a cut yes its toxic to touch.

kind of like the myth when aids was in epidemic about how you could get it.

They get their toxins from what they eat in the wild, so I wouldn’t touch one in a forest. Most of the toxins on their skin can’t pass our skin barrier, but our hands are often full of micro-lesions.

In captivity they're harmless. It's diet based. I keep the ones in my sig and avatar. The ones in my sig are one of the most toxic animals on the planet. And yes only if the poison gets into your blood stream. If you get it on your hand and rub your eyes is a way.

Never had one before but they look cool.
