So...first diagram looks about right. The circle is bigger.
Conservative politics are all about conserving. In America that means keeping the country white and keeping the system for white people. The entire Trump platform is based on this.
The left is traditionally hostile to tradition based power such as religion gender and race.
Our biases are more against religion and class.
And that should be right and left. Liberal and conservative are both liberal. American conservatives would never want to go with what the world will consider conservative what should be a non representative government and a despotic leader.
