what happened to this poor dude?
look like he's fighting depression or something equivalent, maybe a rude past?

I'm glad he's living in natural environment, good for him :)

It's a model that our corporations in the west have pioneered; this gives them a chance to observe it at a level where government force cannot be challenged and free will is no longer possible. If it is successful in China, they will implement it here.

Corporate Feudalism will last until either an EMP takes out their "information" infrastructure, or, provided they can protect it from attacks or natural EMP events, until virtually the end of time.

Government is the only entity strong enough to prevent this, but right now they are owned by the corporations. And the very people who could do something about it, gun nutter Republicans who assert they care about "individual liberty" won't do anything because they falsely believe the corporations are benevolent and the government malevolent. They have it backwards and they won't win because they are too narcissistic to admit they are wrong and turn their guns around on the actual enemy.

The only hope I can gleam from this is that one day we'll live in a world where cutting people in line, not signalling for a lane change, or using the 20 items or less aisle with a full cart will have real world consequences. Among other grave sins.
