I’d say Billy Corgan should be mentioned. Of course Freddie, Axl Rose, Morrison, David Lee Roth, etc.

For females I’d say Gwen Stefani.

Oh fuck I forgot Lux from the Cramps! Best in punk, for me.

Great choices. Axl, Corgan, Morrison, and Lux Interior are some of my favorites as well. Big fan of David Lee Roth as well.

Axl in particular is super underrated.

David Thomas (Pere Ubu), Henry Rollins (Black Flag), Dennes Boon (Minutemen), Guy Piccioto (Fugazi), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), and Joey Ramone (Ramones) are top tier punk vocalists as well.

Captain Beefheart, Tom Waits, and Nick Cave also deserve mention.
