Money: fast maps t7+, lab farmer, flipping, and crafting (not recommended for new players).
Noob advice:
-Any good build should have conversion, crit, or extreme resistance reduction. If you arent doing any of those, the build is probably bad.
-Builds should have at least 150% increased life/es.
-It's usually best to convert any spare currency (all non-equipable items) you have into chaos or exalts.
-Follow a guide for your first few builds.
-Try to use different types of skills for your first few builds so you can get an idea of items that different people may be looking for. The most common thing i read is that people don't know what's worth anything, this is caused by people only playing a few types of builds, so they just don't even know what stats go well together.
-Don't be disheartened by your build before level 80ish; many builds require a lot of points or specific gear in order to really start coming together.
-Learn your shorthand, because no one types shit out. BF, BV, FB, different FB, also different FB, GC, RF, EK... you get the idea.
-CWDT - IC (cast when damage taken - immortal call) should be in almost every single build. Don't level CWDT past 3 unless you have a specific reason to. Also, make sure the required level of the linked gem is less than or equal to the required level of the CWDT, or the linked gem will NOT cast.
-Cap your resists. Never dont have capped resists. CAP YOUR FUCKING RESISTS, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CAP THEM. It's also good to have ~10-20% overcapped resists for maps.
-Be sure to know if your build can handle reflect, and if it can't, read each map before starting.
PoE is a very complex game that has a steep learning curve. You'll fuck up a lot at the beginning, but don't worry about it. Just learn from your "mistakes" and keep killing.
