Ok, so for some reason I’ve got two of each of the threshold jewels for shrapnel and ice shot.

I’m playing HC SSF thus I’m a bit limited on gearing but I’d love to make a bow char.

I have the following unique bows to build around:
Voltaxic rift
Chin sol
Death Harp (no opus yet...)

In addition I have a tabula, 5L (pseudo 6L) Ashrend, meginord, decent phys dmg jwlery, deidbellow.

What ascendancy? I wanted to try deadeye but might be too squishy? Champion with perma fortify?

I’ll be happy just farming up to t10 comfortably.
Decent clear
Strong single target
Relatively good survivability

Any input of value is welcome.

I’ve played TS a lot before wanted to try something different.
I kind of feel TS is a bit weak without any additional arrows...(dying sun, enchant, +1 quiver) but maybe I’m wrong?

It felt like a nice idea to try ice shot or shrapnel shot as I had two of each treshold jewels.

You do know there are ways to be payback your scams right?

try out both and see which one you like more, Ice shot has freeze so it's more defensive.

I feel like the gear is pretty much the same for both shrapnel and ice shot so it's your choice really, you just gotta try them out

I'd go with deadeye, you get a bunch of evasion, free accuracy and alot of dmg.

chin sol is great swap for single target, just make it 5-link and put barrage in there and swap on bosses

oh you're right, since HC SSF ain't hard enough, he should probably go with crude bow+burning arrow. sorry
