Pretty fair assessment. Talbot + larason + Sekera were alll key factor last year. All floundered this year and even with mcdavid having career highs we are shit

He’s out performed all others in regular season by quite a margin. And it’s an award for “most valuable to his team during the regular season.”

Turns out most times that player is on a playoff team. This year he isn’t at no fault of his own.

McDavid should win the Lindsay but not the Hart imho. Can't give it to a player who carried his team to a bottom 10 place.. No matter how badly other player on the team played.

I never said mcdavid is useless. He is a world class player.

But he didnt help his team succeed, at least not enough for a winning season/post season.

Hall did that.

The Lindsay and hart are the same trophy go to same player.

It’s not an award on making your team succeed. It’s an award about being most valuable. And when you’re in on 46+% of your teams goals compared to the next closest at 38%. That’s saying something.
