There's really no excuse for developed leaders to not be pushing LFTR reactors and more research into increasing the efficiency of nuclear.
Improving Nuclear and improving batteries should be the largest priorities in my eyes in the current and long term.
Nuclear has the ability to deliver large sums of power that other renewables just can't compete with and battery tech improving by default will increase the efficiency of renewables itself.
I have far less faith in LFTR than in fusion, even though fusion is still in the experimental phase.
LFTR tech has many of the problems that standard fission tech has too. Fusion eliminates many of them (but has its own issues). Fusion just seems like the more durable solution.
