The original post is deleted but I saved a copy of this rant and want to share it with you allBefore I start, I understand that this is not a healthy attitude to have and can lead to other pains outside of gaming. I'm writing this post to hopefully save some angry gamers some money on controllers while working at controlling your anger. Having angry management is not a fun thing to have.
As ways... when buying a new controller because your old one magically flew into the wall or a random person decided to jump on it multiple times or etc... you get the point. Make sure you buy the new controller somewhere that offers a protection plan. Using my own experience I bought my controller at Best Buy for $50 (deal at the time) and they offered a 2 year protection plan for a one time payment of $15. It's been a little over a year I believe since I have bought this deal and I have gone through at least 10 controllers (I know, nothing to brag about). As long as the controller isn't in multiple pieces they will accept it. At least for me when I rage and do something bad to my controller
I only manage to break something internally and not externally.
This deal has saved me so much money in the long-run. Using my experience of going through 10 controllers so far at $60 a piece it would of costed me: $600 for the year (wow that's terrible). Since I signed up for the protection plan, I only spend $65 for the year. That's a lot better than $600.
To restate again, anger management is a bad thing and in no way am I trying to brag about going through 10 controllers from the time that I bought the protection plan. Remember to control your anger either by stepping away from your xbox or finding a way that works for you to control yourself.
